The C370 combines many functions in one device, from integrated LTE Cat. M / Cat. NB-IoT Modem through a programmable controller (PLC) with a graphic display and programmable keys as an operating interface to a professional data logger and fault indicator. Powerful in communication thanks to numerous interfaces and protocols and almost unlimited expandable, it is the ideal device for demanding M2M and IoT applications.

Future-proof mobile connectivity

The C370 has a LTE Cat. M / Cat NB-IoT modem and provides a modern and future-proof network connection for many applications. A greatly improved transmission efficiency compared to GPRS/EDGE results in lower energy consumption (LPWAN) and better network coverage, especially indoors. For the transition period, automatic fallback to EDGE / GPRS always ensures optimum network availability.

Performance and security for edge computing

The C370 is based on an RTOS real-time core with IEC 61131-3 runtime environment. The 32-bit ST Arm®processor provides more than enough power and memory for your edge-computing applications. AES encryption and a certificate management for all important TCP based protocols (e.g. MQTT, SMTP, TCP/IP Sockets) offer a high security for your communication, e.g. with a cloud.

I/O interfaces for all needs

The C370 has 8 digital inputs (4 configurable as S0), 8 digital solid state outputs (36V / 1.5A), 4 flexibly configurable analog inputs and outputs each. The interface equipment is completely transparently expandable via Modbus modules for the user software and can be extended almost indefinitely.

Versatile communication

In addition to the mobile network connection, the C370 has a large number of interfaces: CAN-2.0, RS-232, RS-485, 1-Wire and USB. For easy use of the interfaces, the development environment provides support for a variety of protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, FTP, MQTT, 1-Wire, M-Bus, Modbus (Master and Slave).
