Future-proof mobile connectivity

With a multiband LTE Cat. 4 modem, the CX630 has a modern and future-proof mobile communications connection, because LTE will represent the area-wide backbone of mobile communications in the long term. Automatic fallback to EDGE / GPRS ensures optimal network availability. Digitized Voice and DTMF as well as SMS complete the profile. Thanks to the support of a wide range of frequency bands, the CX630 can be used worldwide.

Precise positioning

Ds CX630 features a high-sensitivity GNSS receiver with support for GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO with interference rejection and jamming protection. The support of DGPS (WASS, EGNOS, MSAS, GAGAN) further increases the positioning accuracy. Further sensors (3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope) round off the equipment.

Powerful vehicle integration

Two independent complete CAN 2.0B interfaces with hardware filtering and multi-speed support allow comprehensive data acquisition even in complex vehicle installations. Additional units without CAN connection can be flexibly connected via the other interfaces of the CX630.

Sophisticated energy management

A built-in UPS (integrated LiIon battery), low power consumption and various low-power modes with wake-up events from various sources allow safe operation even on switched on-board networks.

Performance and security for edge computing

The CX630 is based on a hardened Linux architecture with IEC 61131-3 runtime environment. The Arm® Cortex®– A7 processor with floating point support, DSP functions and cryptography acceleration provides more than enough power for your edge computing applications. TLS/SSL support for all major TCP based protocols (e.g. MQTT, SMTP, Sockets) with full certificate management effectively protects your communication, e.g. with a cloud.

I/O interfaces for all needs

The CX630 has 6 digital inputs, 4 digital solid state outputs (36V / 1.5A) and 2 analog inputs. The interface equipment is completely transparently expandable via Modbus modules for the user software and can be extended almost indefinitely.

Versatile communication

In addition to the mobile network connection, the CX660 has a large number of interfaces: 100 Base-T Ethernet, DualCAN-2.0, RS-232, RS-485, 1-Wire, WLAN, Bluetooth LE und USB. For easy use of the interfaces, the development remotion provides support for a variety of protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, FTP, MQTT,1-Wire, M-Bus, Modbus (Master and slave).
