This product is discontinued and will be replaced by the successor model CX320 (or alternatively CX510, if applicable). The successor model has a current LTE/4G cellular connection and is downward compatible. Applications that have already been implemented and tested can usually be run without any changes.

The affordable C310 combines many functions in one device, from an integrated 2G/GPRS modem to a programmable controller (PLC) to a professional data logger and fault indicator. Strong in communication thanks to numerous interfaces and protocols and almost endlessly expandable, it is the ideal device for demanding and at the same time cost-sensitive M2M and IoT applications.

Integrated mobile communication

The C310 has a 2G/GPRS modem to bring mobile communications directly into your applications. Easy to use for connection to all leading cloud platforms, as fault indicator directly with SMS or voice with IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and DTMF or for communication with other devices of the M2M Control Pro series. Thanks to the high-level integration into the development environment (IDE), programming distributed applications is just as easy as programming a single PLC.

Performance and security for edge computing

The C310 is based on an RTOS real-time core withIEC 61131-3 runtime environment. The 32-bit ST Arm®processor provides more than enough power and memory for your edge-computing applications. AES encryption and a certificate management for all important TCP based protocols (e.g. MQTT, SMTP, TCP/IP Sockets) offer a high security for your communication, e.g. with a cloud.

I/O interfaces for all needs

The C310 has 8 digital inputs (4 of which can be configured as S0), 8 digital solid state outputs (36V / 1.5A), 4 flexibly configurable analog inputs and outputs each. The interface equipment is completely transparently expandable via Modbus modules for the user software and can be extended almost indefinitely.

Versatile communication

In addition to the mobile network connection, the C310 has powerful interfaces: RS-485 with Modbus support and 1-Wire as well as an RS-232 service port. For easy use of the interfaces, the development environment provides support for a variety of protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, FTP, MQTT, 1-Wire, M-Bus, Modbus (Master and Slave).
