The CX465 combines many functions in one device, from an integrated LTE modem (with fallback to GPRS) and a programmable controller (PLC) to a professional data logger and fault indicator. Strong in communication thanks to numerous interfaces (e.g. WLAN, Bluetooth, ISM RF, 1-Wire, RS-485…) and protocols and almost unlimited expandability, it is the ideal device for demanding M2M and IoT applications in harsh environments. Thanks to its built-in GNSS receiver it is also suitable for mounting on moving machines. The CX460 can be operated both with 8..36 VDC. and also supplied with 100..260VAC.
With a multiband LTE Cat. 4 modem, the CX465 has a modern and future-proof mobile phone connection, as LTE will be the backbone of mobile communication in the long term. Automatic fallback to EDGE / GPRS ensures optimal network availability. Voice with IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and DTMF as well as SMS complete the profile. Thanks to its support for a large number of frequency bands, the CX465 can be used worldwide.
The CX465 is based on a hardened Linux architecture with IEC 61131-3 runtime environment. The Arm®Cortex®– A5 processor with floating point support, DSP functions and cryptographic acceleration offers more than enough power for your edge computing applications. TLS/SSL support for all important TCP based protocols (e.g. MQTT, SMTP, Sockets) with full certificate management effectively protects your communication, e.g. with a cloud.
The CX465 has 5 digital inputs (4 of which can be configured as S0), 4 relay outputs (5A @250VAC), 4 flexibly configurable analog inputs and outputs each. The interface equipment is completely transparently expandable via Modbus modules for the user software and can be extended almost indefinitely.
In addition to the mobile phone connection, the CX465 has a variety of interfaces: 100 Base-T Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, 1-Wire, WLAN, Bluetooth LE and USB. For easy use of the interfaces, the development remotion provides support for a variety of protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, FTP, MQTT,1-Wire, M-Bus, Modbus (Master and slave).
A built-in UPS (integrated LiIon battery), low power consumption and five execution speeds with wakeup events from various sources allow safe operation even on switched networks.
The CX465 has a high-sensitivity GNSS receiver with support for GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO (99 acquisition channels / 33 tracking channels) with interference suppression and jamming protection. The support of DGPS (WASS, EGNOS, MSAS, GAGAN) further increases the positioning accuracy. A 3-axis acceleration sensor rounds off the features, making it an ideal controller for moving machines in harsh environments.
