The serial number iButton DS1990 is a robust data carrier that can be used as a digital registration number, e.g. for automated identification of objects or persons. Data is transferred via the 1-wire protocol and a two-wire bus.

iButtons have a guaranteed unique and unchangeable 64-bit serial number. The housing is made of stainless steel and protects against dirt, moisture and vibration.

The iButton is pre-assembled with a holder (FOB) DG9093
